EAMUS CATULI! (Latin for Let's Go Cubs!) and AC (Anno Catuli, In the Year of the Cubs) have been visible in the Wrigleyville rooftops since the mid-1990's. The numbers which follow refer to three different date markers – counting the years since the team’s seasonal and playoff success. The first two represent the number of seasons since the Cubs last won their division (2008). The next two represent the number of seasons since the Cubs last won the National League pennant (1945). The last three (originally two) represent the number of seasons since the Cubs last won the World Series (1908). Using this vernacular, AC0770108 indicated that it had been 7 years since a division title, 70 years since a National League title and 108 years since a World Series championship. The day we won the World Series the sign was reset to "000000."
